Why do we create? Who is it for? Should we let outside opinions influence the work? What the hell am I doing? No, seriously, what the hell am I doing with my life? These are questions that constantly plague me when I’m working on a creative project of any kind.

Last year (and earlier this year) I released some of my music and the songs didn’t get the response I was hoping for. They weren’t “successful”. Needless to say, I had a lot feelings about it. So, I did what helps me most and started writing about it. I then decided I would document the process, from the writing and arranging, to the recording and its upcoming release. “The Journey to CHOOSE ME” is that documentation. I will share one episode every Wednesday leading up to the release of my new single “Choose Me”. I don’t know if I figured anything out during the process, but I’ll leave that to you to decide.  

So if you ever wanted to know what it’s like being a creator (and/or in my head, though sometimes that’s a scary place, so beware), this is for you. It’s raw and vulnerable (hello, no make up) but hopefully it’s funny too. I’m nervous and excited to share it,  but it's time to do just that. Videos below.
